Emanuele Svetti conceives this project as a challenge, to change the connotations of an accommodation facility in a city of art such as Florence, to initiate an ideological but also philological metamorphosis, guiding us towards changes that represent an innovative dialogue with the evolution of our present. The architectural space thus becomes capable of living today’s changes, of use and custom, emphasizing them through the use of materials that enhance the play of shadows and chromatic changes, a bit like what happens with the transformations of urban structures and the landscape from which not even a city like Florence can escape.
